Women of Saint Luke

All women of Saint Luke’s congregation, both members and visitors, are invited to become involved with the Women of Saint Luke group.  We meet on the third (3rd) Monday of the month from September through June at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the church.

Volunteer hostesses from the group prepare and serve dinner following the welcome and a brief devotion. The mealtime is a great time to catch up with each other and share in God’s bounty.  Each month there is a very interesting 20 to 30-minute program and a business meeting.  Program topics include faith-based subjects, wellness issues, community outreach, and community resource updates.

The group is financially independent from the church and supports itself through monthly offerings and a few projects, which have included the sale of cleaning cloths and cutlery.  The money raised is used to help support the church, memorial funds, local schools, various charities and causes as needs arise.  Each meeting ends with prayer.
