Church Closure Due to Idalia

Due to the impending hurricane,  Idalia, the church office will be closed on Thursday, August 31st & Friday, Sept. 1st. The Labor Day weekend also has the church office closed on Monday, Sept. 4th. The worship service with Holy Communion is still scheduled for Sunday, Sept.3rd at 10A.M.

 

Canning Memorial Service

A Celebration of Life Service for Robert (Bob) Canning will take place in the church sanctuary on Saturday, June 1,2024 at  2 P.M. You may also click on the Worship Services Button above to watch the Livestream. It will be available under Archived Services on the same page after Saturday, June 1st.

Easter Week Schedule

Our Holy Week services are as follows:

Palm Sunday, March 24th– “A Living Hope” Cantata with Holy communion 10A.M.

Maundy Thursday, March 28th– Worship Service with Holy communion 7P.M.

Good Friday, March 29th-Service of Shadows Worship Service 7P.M.

Easter Sunday, March 31st– Continental Easter Breakfast 8:30-9:30A.M. Worship Service with Holy Communion 10A.M.

Everyone is welcome!

All services will be live-streamed on our Worship page beginning 15 minutes prior to the service on Youtube.

Worship Schedule

Sanctuary services take place every Sunday at 10:00A.M. Special music before the service begins at 9:45 A.M.

All are welcome. No one will be turned away.

Masks are optional for those that have been fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus.

You can also join us in worship with our livestream service on Sunday at 9:45 A.M. by selecting Worship Services at the tab listed above or by clicking on the You tube button to the right.

Midweek Morning Prayers

Wednesdays
at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall with coffee and cookies

An informal service that reviews the Gospel text for the following Sunday and concludes with prayer.

Special Announcements

Crop Hunger Walk Nov. 2nd at 1PM

Social Ministries Committee members will be walking to end hunger. You are invited to walk or donate.

The walk takes place at Mulberry Park in Shallotte at 1PM. Choose a 1 mile or 5K walk.

Gertrud “Trudy” Freeman Celebration of Life Oct. 30th

A Celebration of Life service for Gertrud “Trudy” Freeman will be held at 3 P.M. in the church sanctuary on Thursday, Oct. 30th. The service can be viewed by going to Worship Services at the top of this page. Then click on the red arrow.
